Here’s a configuration tip that enables Firefox to download Web pages faster:
enable HTTP pipe lining.
HTTP pipe lining allows Firefox to send multiple requests at the same time, resulting in faster loading times for Web content.
HTTP pipe lining is an experimental feature and can cause some Web pages to display incorrectly if they’re not properly supported by the Web servers.
While the speed improvements may be worthwhile, if your favorite Web pages start to look weird, try turning pipe lining off again.
To enable pipe lining, open the about:config interface and: Set the network.http.pipelining preference to “true” to enable HTTP pipe lining for Web access that’s “direct connect.” Set the network.HTTP.proxy.pipe lining preference to “true” to enable HTTP pipe lining when the Web is accessed via a proxy server. You only need to do this if you’re using a proxy server; your ISP or network administrator can tell you if that’s the case or not.
Set the network.http.pipelining.max requests preference to a number between 1 and 8. This number is the maximum number of requests that Firefox may send out at any one time in a pipeline. I recommend it be set to the maximum of 82 initially, then test working backwards from there. Step the value down by one (first to 7, then to 6, and so on) each time you notice the page display

Replacing the sites listed with the domains that you want to block.
2.)FOR MAC:-
1. In Finder, from the Go menu, choose Go to Folder. 2. In the Go To Folder dialog, type /etc/. 3. From the /etc/ folder window, open the hosts file in a text editor. 4. Add the following on its own line in the hosts file: 127.0.0.1 Ebay.com games.yahoo.com evilex.com Replace the sites listed with the domains that you want to block.
3.)THE RESULT:-
After you‘ve completed the steps for your operating system, save the hosts file and quit your editor. Now when you visit one of your blocked sites, you get a Server Not Found error.

BYPASS BLOCKED WEBSITES:-
NOTE-:This trick works in Firefox only1. Find the IP address of the website you would like to access:
(I will use Google.co.in as our example.):
For this go to CMD and type - ping google.co.in
Google.co.in IP = 74.125.91.104
Take notice that there are 4 different numbers each separated by a period.
2. Convert each number into an 8 digit binary value. You can do so by using the windows calculator, setting it to scientific, and then pressing the DEC option. Type in your number (74) then press the BIN option and it gives you the 8 digit binary value. Now record this value and continue this process with the other 3 numbers.
01001010 01111101 01011011 01101000 (This is the binary values of the above IP)
3. Now take the above binary values and convert that into a 32-digit value. Notice how there are 8 digits in each binary value.Well 4*8 = 32. Simply remove the spaces from the above number and you
get your 32 digit value.

Now
we are at the final step. To access your blocked website, you must
convert the 32 digit value into a decimal value. This mean that you will need to turn the number above into something that looks like 123,456,789 (just an example) The converted number does not need to be of specific length.
4) The number you get when you convert the 32-digit value is 1249729384.
If you have done this correctly, go to your web browser and in the address field type in http://1249729384 It should take you to google.co.in

Delete An "undeletable" File
Open a Command Prompt window and leave it open.
Close all open programs.
Click Start, Run and enter TASKMGR.EXE
Go to the Processes tab and End Process on Explorer.exe.
Leave Task Manager open.
Go back to the Command Prompt window and change to the directory the AVI (or other undeletable file) is located in.
At the command prompt type DEL where is the file you wish to delete.
Go back to Task Manager, click File, New Task and enter EXPLORER.EXE to restart the GUI shell.
Close Task Manager.
Or you can try this
Open Notepad.exe
Click File>Save As..>
locate the folder where ur undeletable file is
Choose 'All files' from the file type box
click once on the file u wanna delete so its name appears in the 'filename' box
put a " at the start and end of the filename
(the filename should have the extension of the undeletable file so it will overwrite it)
click save,
It should ask u to overwrite the existing file, choose yes and u can delete it as normal
Here's a manual way of doing it. I'll take this off once you put into your first post zain.
1. Start
2. Run
3. Type: command
4. To move into a directory type: cd c:\*** (The stars stand for your folder)
5. If you cannot access the folder because it has spaces for example Program Files or Kazaa Lite folder you have to do the following. instead of typing in the full folder name only take the first 6 letters then put a ~ and then 1 without spaces. Example: cd c:\progra~1\kazaal~1
6. Once your in the folder the non-deletable file it in type in dir - a list will come up with everything inside.
7. Now to delete the file type in del ***.bmp, txt, jpg, avi, etc... And if the file name has spaces you would use the special 1st 6 letters followed by a ~ and a 1 rule. Example: if your file name was bad file.bmp you would type once in the specific folder thorugh command, del badfil~1.bmp and your file should be gone. Make sure to type in the correct extension.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------WHERE DOES WINDOWS PRODUCT ID GET STORED:-
There are two places at least where ProductId gets stored.
1> To see the first place, open Registry by going to START-RUN and entering REGEDIT and Navigate to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion]. In right pane, look for key by the name "ProductId". This is your Windows Product Id.
OR
2>you can navigate to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion] and still find same field with the name ProductId.

Check the Status column to see if your connection is currently connected, and whether or not it is "firewalled."
You can even drag the column headings around (I like to slide the Status column right next to the Name column. You can even remove entire columns by right-clicking the column heading and unchecking it.
